According with Section 1002.421(1)(h), Florida Statutes . Our teachers:
- Have completed bachelor’s degree or higher in any subject (copy of diploma or completed transcript)
- Have three or more years of K-12th grade teaching experience (written proof of contacting the previous employer)
- Feature special skills, knowledge, or expertise which qualifies them to provide instruction in K-12th grade subjects (provide documentation such as certifications, professional development, curriculum training, etc.). Pre-K experience and certifications would not meet this requirement.
Academic School 4 Arts (AS4A) was founded by Inna Maor, a professional dancer and pianist, who graduated from Moscow College of Arts. Ms. Maor was taught in a thriving and progressive arts conservatory in Odessa, Russia. It was a comprehensive academic school that valued the arts as equals to all other subjects.
Later, as her career as an educator flourished, she started dreaming of establishing a similar school, which valued the arts as equals to all other subjects. AS4A is the materialization of Inna’s dream, which is the result of many years of hard work, dedication, and commitment to academic and arts excellence.
Our private school combines the highest level of academic education with the highest level of arts education, while maintaining a nurturing and enriching environment. It seeks to prepare the next generation of artists by providing inspiring, innovative, and personalized programs.
It is built on the principles of mindfulness, problem-solving skills, independent thinking, diversity, and citizenship. AS4A follows a daily well-rounded curriculum covering the essential tenets: Math, Language Arts, Science/Stem, Social Science, & Physical Education with a concentration on the four major art forms: Music, Dance, Theatre, and the Fine Arts.
