Mathematics is the cornerstone of a strong core curriculum. Daily instruction and practice enables students to confidently solve math problems using various methods. Computational skills and number concepts are essential components of the mathematics curriculum.
AS4A uses several sources to ensure that its Math curriculum complies with Florida State Standards. A quarterly assessment is implemented. Using this data, teachers target strengths and weaknesses for each child and are able to focus the curriculum accordingly.
